Everyday Bliss Balls with Odi

I’m constantly making food to feed my hungry kids! This is a very basic bliss ball recipe I repeat, and this time I’ve added in Odi’s Smoothie Booster which offers a powerful punch of whole food nutrition, specifically designed for kids.

I love that they’re easy to make in one food processor, keep well in the fridge all week and freeze beautifully. They’re also easy to adapt depending on what you have at home. Almond, ABC or peanut butter all work, and tahini is a great option if you need them to be nut-free.

A simple, satisfying snack for toddlers, big kids and adults too.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 18 fresh Medjool dates, pitted
  • ½ cup ABC butter or almond butter
  • 3 tbsp Odi Organic Smoothie Booster
METHOD
  1. Add the rolled oats, coconut, sea salt and pitted Medjool dates to a food processor. Pulse until the ingredients are finely chopped and combined.
  2. Add the ABC butter and Odi Smoothie Booster. Process until the mixture comes together and begins to clump in the food processor.
  3. Roll the mixture into approximately 20 evenly sized balls.
  4. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate.
Notes
  • Make ahead: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5–7 days.
  • Freezer-friendly: These freeze beautifully. Store in an airtight container and defrost as needed.
  • Nut-free option: Swap the ABC butter for tahini. Check that your other ingredients are nut-free if preparing for a nut-free school or childcare setting.
  • Other nut butters: Peanut butter or almond butter both work well in place of ABC butter.
